If memory serves me right, the file summary is basicly a xform, and this blog's method should apply

Are there any "best practises" for adding dynamic content to a file summary?
I need to add a drop down that is populated with items from the site (pages) that can be created or deleted by editors.
The solution I'm thinking about right now is to make the file dymanic (a aspx) but it would be nice if there is a built in future for this.
