Google Analytic Add-on Issue - service down?

The Google Analytics add-on has recently stopped working in a client site - we've tried to disconnect and reconnect the account but we get a connection timeout in trying to reconnect.

The URL it tries to access is: http://api.episerver.com/GoogleAuth/?scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly&returnUrl=

And the response we get is api.episerver.com took too long to respond.

Is there a service outage somewhere at the Episerver end?

I'm having this same issue in 2021.  Was there any resolution to this?
