Idio/Recommendations User ID to Google Analytics User ID

The Recommendations User Id will normally be persisted in a browser cookie called: epi_RecommendationsTrackingUserId

Do you know why this wouldn't be showing up in the browser's cookies for the site all the time? Had a team member not see it when he visited the site in Chrome, but did see it created in Edge. Does that cookie get blocked by certain browsers, or is it not always created for each session?

Hello,
Our team has been looking into sending a user ID to Google Analytics and we saw that Idio/Recommendations has a user ID that is sent to it for user tracking. We were wondering if there is a way to get this same ID set to what we would send to Google Analytics?
I didn't see where that ID is being pulled from or sent to Idio, so I'm not sure if it is accessible to be sent to GA or not.
