Search Result Filter Does not update Total Hits

I have created one search result filter to exlude some of the pages from search result but the total hits do not gets updated it stll shows the original total hits before filtering.

 

How do i update the total hits in Search Result..

If you are using the built in search I sugest looking at Alloy. You might need to redatabind the total hits after the second search!?
