This works on some pagetypes and some NOT, what is the criterias to make it work? do i need to override/implement something? Do they need to use same masterpage?

My guess would be that the criteria would be that you have the same properties on the page fetching as the one being fetched.

Also if you have data in the page that fetches, then that data will override and be the one that shown.
