I'm just about to add support to show the id to the tooltip in the tree since it's a common request.
Other improvements for the next release is that you can configure the default view for a content type, so if you have page types (or other content types) where it makes more sense to to to forms edit by default, you can configure this.
For the other requests, I won't promise anything but we have at least got it...

I am wondering if EpiServer (or anyone else) has planned to add a edit option in the left click menu in the site tree? It's frustrating to load the page each time we want to press the edit button. All properties will never been located as an on page edit.
I have some suggestions to improve EpiServer 7 (not sure if this is the right place) but anyway...
- Add the pageid while hovering over a page in the tree view.
- when adding links or images to properties, most of the text wont fit in the box. This leaves out important information like the page id.
- When selecting a page in a property, give us the page name and page type and the id.
