As Optimizely’s product suite has expanded, we have refreshed our add-on offerings either through development or expansion. Below is a chart showing opportunities where Optimizely has either updated a name of a product or replaced an existing product with a new one.

Migration Details
Advance to Content Recommendations & Intelligence
We will be providing a free migration from our legacy Advance product to the new Optimizely Content Recommendations & Intelligence software.
Will it require a new contract?
No – but a contract amendment will need to be created to change from our legacy sku to new sku.
Will I incur additional cost?
Not from your software or subscription. This migration could incur additional development work however as the new service requires installation and conversion.
Will I be able to retain my old data?
No – the new service requires new tracking and new data.
What is the overall process?
- After contract amendment is signed, a new instance will be provisioned for you.
- Our onboarding team will engage with you and your developer partner again to kick off the implementation of the new service.
- We will review strategy, best practice and steps as part of the QA process.
- Your developers will implement the new tool according to your new SOW.
- Optimizely will support your team to Go-Live with the new tool, to which we will then connect you with Customer Success for ongoing support.
Insight/CDP to Optimizely Data Platform
Legacy Insight/CDP Product is being replaced by the Optimizely Data Platform.
Will it require a new contract?
No – but a contract amendment will need to be created to change from our legacy sku to new sku.
Will I incur additional cost?
Not from your software or subscription. This migration could incur additional development work however as the new service requires installation and conversion depending on the complexity of your configuration. Optimizely Data Platform provides connectors to Optimizely tools such as Content or Commerce Clouds, but connectors to other tools might require custom builds.
Will I be able to retain my old data?
Migration of your data is possible working with Optimizely Expert Services or an Optimizely Partner. This will require review of your current data schema.
What is the overall process?
