A new release of ImageVault is available to ensure that ImageVault is up to date with the latest versions of Episerver CMS. This also means that we now use Episerver's logging framework and no longer are dependent on Log4Net.
In order to support our new offerings around Microsoft Office and our cloud based streaming solution we have made some changes to the underlying architecture. The purpose of this has been to ensure that the new services are seamlessly integrated in ImageVault. Hence it is now possible to easily access you media files directly from within Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, using our app, or to manage and publish video using our video service. ImageVault Connect for Office is purchased separately in Microsoft Office Store. ImageVault Video is a service that is purchased separately and is currently only available in Europe.
In this release we have also focused on including improvements based on user feedback for both developers and customers. Even though we haven't made significant changes to the user interface we have made improvements that will make the everyday work easier and more convenient. These changes will also allow more control over how media is converted and published. As always we have continued the work with improving the documentation for developers as well as the end users.
