EPiServer Widget in Top right corner

Hi

We've had a couple of new releases from our developers and people have noticed this EPiServer Widget appearing in the top right corner of the site on what we would consider the public facing servers in our UAT environment. (2 servers for content, 1 for content authoring)

Oddly we have another hostname episerver.myuatdomain.co.uk that the users do all the content authoring on with same code/config/DB and it doesnt appear on there, only appears on www.myuatdomain.co.uk

We havent gone to production yet as its still in testing.

How do we go about disabling this or is this something I need to take up with the developers?

You need to take this with your developers. If it is the small editing widget to access episerver ui? It is common to remove these features from the public server. This is done by removing sections from the config-files of your website. They have probably missed that in the new release and threrefore they are back on the public server again.

Should be a simple task to remove those sections from the config-file. Assuming we are talking about the same subject :)

Good luck
