Custom sort order
I don't think that there is any plug-in support here so you have to sort when saving. Also, last time I had a look at this code, all sorting except Alphabetic, is done in the database for performance making it harder to extend.

Hi, is there a way to create your own "Sort subpages"-option?
Or do we need to use "sort index" and then hook into the publish event and sort it the way we want?
