Hello,

We are currently attempting to connect data between a service and our instance of Ektron.  What I am attempting to do is create a routine that can be ran automatically to login as a specific user, pull data from the connecting service, update our data in Ektron, and log out.  Currently, attempting to use the User Manager class to login the user works if done by itself.  If I attempt to then proceed to checkout or update content, I am receiving the error that the "current user does not have permission" to do any of the attempted tasks.  Just as well, the user does not seem to actually be logged in.

Is this possible with the Ektron API?  Is there an alternative solution so that we may be able to automate this?  Currently the data has to be pulled in manually daily.
