Note!

We do not support upgrade of SDK installation sites and recommend that you uninstall your SDK site before installing the SP3 SDK installation. If you have a previous SDK installation and wish to receive the language files for SP3, please download the SP2 language zip file and replace your language files with the unzipped files.

Intended usage

This is the SDK installation intended for developers. This installation includes the Visual Studio 2005 Integration as well as the SDK Documentation.

Prerequisites for this installation: 

• Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 SP1 (Professional or "more")
• Microsoft SQL Express (Make sure TCP/IP and Named Pipes protocols are enabled in the SQL Server Configuration Manager)
• .NET Framework 3.0

The Episerver CMS 5 SDK is also available online.

Developer License

A developer license is required for the SDK installation. This can be generated from http://license.episerver.com/public/OrderDeveloperLicense.aspx.
