Issue with /Start in my EPiServer 7 URLs

Hi all,

We've upgraded a site from EPiServer 6 to EPiServer 7 and we're having a strange issue. /Start/ seems to be appearing in the URL of all pages, for example http://mysite/start/home or http://mysite/start/contact.

The old site we upgraded had a strange setup with a Home page and then another homepage, which is a link to the other page. The tree structure itself looks fine, however I'm wondering if anyone could point out how to maybe remove this /start/? In the setting or also through code.

If anyone needs any more info to help me our let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

1. Is the site based on MVC or webforms?

2. For CMS7, Start page is defined in Database i.e. Admin section rather than site node in configuration file. Did you verify that already?

3. There is some kind of routing or partial routing happening I think.
Check this link http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/Developers-Guide/EPiServer-CMS/7/Routing/Routing/

Hi Naz,

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't checked the database yet no, and thanks for the URL I will check it out.

My site is web forms based. It's an old legacy site.

Cheers,

Kevin
