Hi Mark
The following post about EPiServer remote events in secure environments may help: https://www.nimeshjm.com/episerver-remote-events-udp-in-secure-environments/. The event system is configured using WCF so you should be able to reconfigure it to send messages over TCP/IP if UDP isn't a possibilty. I have personally set up a site that had 4 machines over two datacentres sucessfully by switching to TCP/IP as UDP wouldn't work. The following post should really help with the configuration you need if you need to go down that road: http://blog.nansen.com/2013/04/how-to-configure-episerver-load.html.
Let me know how you get on
David
Ps I just noticed the official documentation has some informtion around configuring this too: http://world.episerver.com/documentation/items/developers-guide/episerver-cms/75/event-management/wcf-event-management/
Hi,
Has anyone used Oracle Xsigo directors and HyperV for hosting a site in multiple locations? We have a client that is using this technology but are having problems with UDP broadcasts updating a site after a content change (changes are not reflected on other servers).
Any suggestions appreciated as always.
Thanks,
Mark
