Validating Xforms input for HTML entry

Vote:

Hi,

We have a XForm in our CMS 7.5 MVC site and when HTML/JavaScript is entered into one or more fields which produces a 500 error (which is good that it's preventing submission of this). Our client has asked if we can trap this before the 500 and return a warning to the user that they must only submit 'safe' data.

Has anyone done this before or offer any tips?

Thanks,

Mark

Hva you tried using JavaScript to validate the input?

It can also be possible to validate the input in code (C#) but it can be a bit more tricky.
