EPiserver database sync

Hi All,

I am new to EPiserver. One of our project is almost in deployment stage. I would like to know the deployment options for database. How can I sync Auth and Live db ?

Three options to synch environments basically

  • Database backup by using sql management studio. Make sure to also export uploaded images and files
  • use EPiServer export import in admin for content
  • use mirroring

First one is most common when setting up à new environment for the first time.

Second is most common for adding new functionality like a v1.1.

Third is rarely used
