Hello Amol

I've written about how its possible to selectively remove components for users here:

http://www.david-tec.com/2016/05/remove-episerver-ui-components-for-certain-editors/

I also wrote how its possible to remove blocks for users through configuration here:

http://www.david-tec.com/2014/11/Removing-the-blocks-view-from-EPiServer/

Maybe this this will inspire you to create the solution you need.

Thanks David, Your article is of great helps :) but I was wondering is the documentation for disabling gadgets incorrect ? or there is no built in way to decide visibility of the gadgets or UI components in Edit mode other than taking control of rendering.

Tried this approach, It seems that using this will let control the UI rendering of the Episerver CMS but it doesn't stop an editor from adding the Gadget if hidden using this approach. Next time the page is loaded the added gadget will be again not rendered though.

How to remove the gadget from the list of gadget options to add?
