European date format in Edit-mode?

Vote:

Hi,

Most Europeans prefer date formats like

Yet the Episerver edit-mode gives me this

Even when I have following cultures defined (oh, this same issue happens with "en-FI" too. In FInland we like to use dd.MM.yyyy)

Looks like only uiCulture language is used to define both the language and the format. This is a mistake of course, because not all English speakers use the same date format (that is why there are language and region parts after all).

Looks like this is an old issue, but could Episerver please fix this or hand a workaround :)

From "My Settings" you are able to change your edit mode culture which will affect on date format but I don't know what it requirest to get "en-FI" culture into that list.

Yes, Finnish, German, Swedish and other european languages give european date formats, but they are not the lingua franca :(

What is needed is English language + european date format.
