Hi,

We have a strage problem. When we build our site in Visual Studio and the page is first initialized the StarPage hase no properies set, thay are ether null or empty. But after republishing the page all properties reappear. We guess the reason fore this is that the cached data for the startpage are featched from the datebase on publish but way are thay not set after first initialization?

Anyone have any ideé?

We run the latest verison off CMS and Commerce

Regards
/Jesper

Hi,

Turns out that calling the startPage in a scheduled job constructor messes thing up for some reason so dont do that =)

Do you have a wildcard entry for your site under Manage Websites?

If not, you need one else the Scheduled Job cant determine your Start Page because it doesnt have a HttpContext - the wildcard entry if like a fallback in that case.

Cheers

This is a bug that was introduced in Epi 10.

It affects all pages, not just StartPage.

Here's the link to the bug report: http://world.episerver.com/support/Bug-list/Bug/?bugId=CMS-6113

It seems that Episerver has solved the problem, but I don't see CMS-6113 in the release notes yet.

Just noticed the same in one of our production environments. Release for the fix would be much appreciated.

This is fixed in EPiServer.CMS.Core 10.4.1, which is released today.
