I don't think you can share an application in IIS with multiple start pages. The only way is to treat your "sub" as a sub page type in episerver. So create a page type for "sub" and move all your pages under sub. you will also have to fix your image and CSS paths.
-Root
-Start Page
-Sub
-All Sub Pages
Hi Aniket,
Thank you very much for reply. i dont want to share the pages mainly they website will be separate as http://www.domain.com/sub/ under a sub application and will work independely.
so before my CmS was under domain http://www.mycms.com now it will be http://www.domain.com/sub/ where "sub" is an application and pointing to CMS website deployment path.
thanks,
Manoj
Right now we have two websites one is non Episerver and one is epi cms. Epi Server one is on the sub domain and we are trying to move this sub domain to our main domain.
like we have website www.domain.com which is standard .Net website and EPI CMS is one sub.domain.com we want to move sub.domain.com to www.domain.com/sub/ so that we have only one website. when we did that the paths for the css and images all broken becausde now it moved to a directory on IIS under a website, the other issue is we are getting error of the licsense should be licnese for sub.domain.com shoule be valid for www.domain.com/sub/ too ? i am not able to add this entry in the host entry as the host is www.domain.com
we are on version 7.5. please let me know if anyone did same kind of implementation.
thanks,
Manoj
