Manage shortcut - link to file on file share
You can always create a dedicated page type for the job and handle the redirect as part of the controller.

Hi,
On an intranet site there is a need to add a link to a file on a file share using the manage shortcut functionality of a page.
Selecting "Shortcut to a page on another website" does not seem to allow a file path to be added, it throws a validation method. I've tried \\share\folder\filename.txt and file://///share/folder/filename.txt and neither work.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
