Hello dear friends :)!

i encountered a problem and wonder if someone have had similar problem.

some pages when editing them (both on-page editing and allproperties mode) all properties are empty, but when viewing the page outside editor it has content.

Also when copying the page and pasting a copy, well all properties on the newly copied page are visible.

Anyone have a clue what this can be :)?

Console does not display any error..

You probably want to check the version in the edit mode. It sounds like it is not the published one

What is the difference on how the properties are fetched  "edit mode"  VS "view on website"?

yesterday i had some help from Le  to troubleshoot and this is what we found out. (in case someone else runs into this)

There are mainly two tables where we get content from:
 tblWorkContentProperty and tblContentProperty

tblContentProperty have only the latest version and that is where frontend is getting its data from.
tblWorkContentProperty is for the editorial and backend.
What has happend on out side stuff are gone from tblWorkContentProperty but still there in tblContentProperty.

We really dont know how this could happend.

Also a interesting thing is when we copy a page in editorial view it seems to copy the content from tblContentProperty and not from tblWorkContentProperty where it loads its content from.

Please correct me if im wrong :)..

Hi Pawel, did you resolve this issue? We are experiencing the same thing, using Episerver v11.11.3.0

Hi David,

Well we couldnt resolve it because things were missing in the tblWorkContentProperty table.  We didnt want to write a script to copy things over from tblContentProperty and it was not recommended either.

We still dont know what caused the missing properties in tblWorkContentProperty either so its kind of difficult to move forward.

Do you have the same issue with things gone from tblWorkContentProperty but still there in tblContentProperty?

I am not sure what is the issue but could you please check if it behaves same way after publishing page from code. Also, try to assign some values into properties and see if works or not. It might work as workaround if it worked!

We were able to fix the issue by reverting to one of the previously published versions. Looks okay for now.

Has this been determined to be a bug? Is there any updated information on this?
TIA
