Custom external Url length on episerver Shortcuts?
Has anyone any pointers here?
There is a workaround for URL property type descibed here: https://world.episerver.com/forum/developer-forum/Developer-to-developer/Thread-Container/2020/5/how-to-increase-remaining-url-length-of-episerver-url-link-type-/
But can it be applied in an existing base-property?

Hi,
Is it possible to somehow use urls longer than 255 characters on the Episerver built-in "Shortcut" function?To reproduce:
Episerver Editor gui -> Page -> Settings -> Manage Shortcut -> Shortcut type=another website -> External link = add an url longer than 255 chars here.
Then you'll get an error message:
"Error setting value to 'PageLinkURL' on 'EPiServer.Cms.Shell.UI.ObjectEditing.InternalMetadata.ShortcutBlock'. "" has exceeded its limit of 255 characters."
Any feedback on this would be appreciated :)
