Wildcard search in catalog search
Hi,
The catalog search uses the search provider you configured in Configs\Mediachase.Search.config, so:
- I don't think wildcard search is supported, at least with Lucene-based SearchProvider. Lucene is not happy with ? or *
- Nodes are not indexed, the search result is entry-only.
If you want more powerful search, it might be worth noting that we are working on improvement of Commerce support for Find, which can provide much more powerful search features than the search providers.

Hi,
In the catalog search that is build into EPiServer CMS, is it possible:
1. To use a wildcard search? Currently the editors have to specify the full word to get search results back.
2. Return other catagory nodes in the search result
