EPiServer Statistics Logging & TimeSpanAnalyzer

Hi, I need some help on using TimeSpanAnalyzer (a part of EPiServer Statistics Logging) can someone please provide me with some sample code for the same. My purpose of using the TimeSpanAnalyzer is as follows 1) I have some news pages and have to get "Most Popular news since last three months". Is there any other way i can achieve the functionality? If yes then please provide me with the same or please let me know how I can use TimeSpanAnalyzer to achieve the functionality.
