Hi we have a workflow(not custom) and there is a problem related to it

the start page defined in workflow settings(labeled - start page for the definition) will not fire the workflow(for example publish on the start page does not do what is suposed to - sending it for approval to another group)

this is working for all the pages under the start page so I would like to know if there is a problem or the workflow is intended to function like this(ignore the start page)

The event defined in workflow settings (labeled - event to start instance) is Page checkedin

Also I hope i was clear enough the Start page is not the root page or something, it's just a node in the tree that was defined in workflow as " start page for the definition"
