EPiServer Spell checker

Hi all,

I am trying to get spell checker working in my CMS 6 site and am not having much success.

- I have word 2007 installed on the machine on which EPiServer is running
- I have set the default language in word and un-checked the 'detect autimatically...' option
- I have uncommented the 'location' node in my web.config that points to the 'OfficeIntgration' directory
- I have set the 'path' attribute in the location node as well i.e.) path="EPiServer/CMS/6.0.530.0/Application/UI/CMS/OfficeIntegration"
- I have set the 'Permission for Functions' appropriately in admin mode for the relevant groups
- I have installed the relevant components in [root folder]/settings

Does this look right or have I missed anything here?

Thanks
mlaies

Spell checker is done on the client. You need to install Office on the client publishing in EPiServer. The settings you describe are for publishing directly from Office to EPiServer.

Hi Lars,

and thank you for your response.

What steps are required to get spell checker working? I can't seem to find any documentation on this anywhere.

Thanks

It should work out of the box (xhtml editor) Are you using TinyMCE editor, have a look at this page:

If you use the TinyMCE editor I've posted some code to get it running here: http://world.episerver.com/Code/Magnus-Ellinge1/TinyMCE-spellchecker/.
