Modify the internal search in the CMS UI
The default search providers are very basic, they work in memory and as you said they work with `startsWith` approach.
You have 3 options:
- install https://www.optimizely.com/online-order/order-episerver-find/ - a paid product but offers the best quality and performance
- install https://nuget.optimizely.com/package/?id=EPiServer.Search.Cms - a free lucene based index, which offers much better results quality than the default built-in providers
- write your own search providers, with different rules, docs here: https://docs.developers.optimizely.com/content-management-system/docs/adding-search-providers

Depending on your hosting, should mention that the Lucene index is not a perfect match with DXP.

Hello, I have some problems finding documentation about the internal search in the CMS UI.
So in the CMS UI we have 3 search boxes:

However, the search function does not meet the desired functionality. For example if i have a page named "My page" and search for "page" i get 0 results, if I search for "My" it works. It seems that the functionality dosent look for what the page-name contains, it looks for what the name starts with - which is not the desired functionality I want. Is it possible to change this? Its in Optimizely CMS 12
