If you are not using Visitor Intelligence segments as criteria in your visitor groups then no implications to the CMS / website functionality.
As per the article, Visitor Intelligence is now deprecated. If you are using it for website behavioral tracking, you should consider migrating to Optimizely Data Platform (separate licensed product)
Hi all,
Following the article Remove Dependencies on Visitor Intelligence and Profile Store we are currently working on removing deprecated packages from our Optimizely 12 solution.
The article mentions removing several packages and configurations related to Optimizely. We have a few visitor groups in our CMS 11 application that is live. I would like to understand the alternatives for these deprecated packages in CMS 11, especially in relation to visitor groups.
I would appreciate some clarification on the following:
1- What are the implications of removing these packages from CMS 11, where our applications are currently live?
2- How will the system function in CMS 11 after removing these packages and configurations?
For context, we do not have any customizations around Visitor Groups in our application and are using Optimizely’s built-in Visitor Groups provided in CMS 11.
Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated!
Regards.
