Hi!
I'm having a problem with EPiServer Manager (not sure this is the right forum but I hope there is a hack to solve this): I installed a EPiServer site in web root (i.e. not under Default Web Site), and set the site url to http://localhost:8080 and connected to an existing database. When installation finished I got an error in the web browser, something indicating that it could not bind to ::80:localhost:8080 (can't remember anymore :( ). When I clicked finish and returned to the EPiServer Manager I got a similar binding error and the options to continue or quit. I then removed the website in IIS and then removed the folder and it's contents. Now when I start EPiServer MAnager I get the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." details below. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling EPiSErver Manager as well as searching for a config where the deleted site is, recreated an empty web application and copied EPi content into it but all without luck. It all looks ok in IIS. What can I do to solve this???
I'm very thankfull for any suggestions!

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I found a "solution" to the problem or at least a way to disarm it:
I'm running IIS7 and by chance I noticed that when I selected the node "Web sites" the 'object viewer' listed a web site that was not to be seen in the tree structure. The site was called SITE_2 and did not have any binding, nor any contents. I deleted it but realized that when I started EPiServer Manager (and got the usual exception), the site was there again. What I did was to set a binding to the site in IIS and now EPiServer Manager agrees to start and lists all sites - including SITE_2. Since SITE_2 does not have any content, nor are connected to a database EPiServer Manager does not give me the option to delete it but install is enabled.
Maybe I'll try to install a dummy and then delete it a bit later, for now I'm just happy that I can get on with my work.
Cool runnings
