I am having problems with the menulist not showing unpublished pages when logged in as administrator or editor.

 First I just used the default way of just giving the menulist an pagelink to populate the menu.

then I changed to using a datasource and getchildren as datasource. but whatever I do and whatever accessrights i supply to the method, getCHildren does simply not return the unpublished pages!

how should I do to make the menulist show unpublished pages when logged in?
