EPiServer.CMS.UI 8.6.1

We have added an xml language file to override a specific editor UI value. Example content of the xml file:

When going into the EPiServer edit mode an error occurs which prevents it from rendering. The underlying error is:

Is it not possible to override existing keys, or should it be done differently?
