Groups and permissions not working as I expect

Hoping for some assistance/brainwaves...

I have an Optimizely installation that is using standard login for the CMS (not Opti ID, anything custom), and it has many groups of users, which I want to use to define permissions on content items - and yet the groups do not appear in the Access Rights panel.

This is standard functionality that works in every single other CMS implementation I have - anyone have any thoughts as to what setting/config option might be making Opti not display groups for Access Rights please?

Thanks

Hi Matt, haven't experienced it before but it would be helpfull if you can share more details:

1) what Optimizely version you are running?
2) do you mean it doesn't show existing setup of groups assigned to a specific content or you can't add new one to the existing content?

You can do following to try troubleshoot an issue:

1) check application logs for errors
2) check browser console log for FE errors

Best regards,
Milos

Thanks Milos.

  1. Opti CMS 11 with Commerce 13.
  2. When I add a group here... (and this is the same for old groups and new groups alike)

It does not appear here...

Nothing in logs or console that would indicate an issue.

Looking at the icons and dialog styles, this looks more like CMS 11. Can you go to Settings (Admin) -> Plugin manager and check version number (see screenshot)?

However, I don't have that same version so I'm not able to reproduce the issue.
