Deleting content type: Access is denied
A simple check first, have you granted yourself access to the Recycle Bin first? Typically it is restricted by default.
From the CMS Editor Interface:
- Click on Settings in the Left Hand Menu
- Click on Access Rights -> Set Access Rights in the Admin Menu
- Select Recycle Bin
- Assign access to yourself

Hi
We have content types (blocks in this case) which is re-done and old content type should be removed.
We have identified where the content is used and have removed references and the block it self.
The Trash looks empty, not showing anything.
However when we try to remove the blocktype it still says content is used. When clicked on any reference link the error is written to the log
EPiServer.Cms.Shell.UI.Rest.Internal.CmsContentContextResolver[0]
Access denied. Failed loading content with content link: 113_317
EPiServer.Core.AccessDeniedException: Access was denied to content 113_317. You do not have access to see the versions for this item.
How would I go about to resolve this issue?
