Need some advice on improvement with Content API. I have API that works fine. I have a page that has a Content Area which hosts 8-9 Article pages. There could be different visibility settings on each of the articles so not everyone querying this page gets same data.

We are using expand attribute on the Content Area item. Without the expand option the response times are reasonable (in milliseconds) but with expand option the response time is almost 7-8 times. Not sure if this is normal but in case of huge load scenarios this kind of chokes the system.

Did anyone ran into such issues and are there any suggestions on this?
