Hi Gustav,
1. Yes, that's correct. MVC 4 must be installed on the server. Find works even on EPiServer 6, so you should be good.
2. Well, if I remember correctly we used Find in a 7.1 project once. But there shouldn't really be any big difference. You just need to find the correct version of Find to install. I don't remember which version Patch 3 is, but you see all releases of find here http://nuget.episerver.com/en/OtherPages/Package/?packageId=EPiServer.Find.Cms
Hi
We are looking at implementing Find on a site running CMS 7 Patch 3 and Web Forms. I have 2 questions:
1. Is this setup supported by Find? The information I've found is somewhat ambiguous : http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/System-Requirements/EPiServer-Find/System-Requirements---EPiServer-7-Find/ it says MVC 4 is required, but is it required only as a component installed on the server or is it required when implementing the site?
2. Does anybody have experience developing under these conditions? What is your experience?
Kind Regards
Gustav
