What is the best way to build a top menu with MVC 4?

Hi Folk!

I would like to have a basic top menu bar using MVC 4 and I was wondering if there is already something out-of-the box?

I haven't tried his code, but here's a blog post that might help: Writing a multi-level submenu using MVC in EPiServer 7.
