[bug?] Blocks disappearing from ContentArea's

Vote:

I cannot give much more information. It appears that blocks sometimes go missing from ContentArea's. What could cause this? We are not changing the ContentAera's. Perhaps a property of a block, but that's about it.

Can it be that the block havnt been published? We will only show published content in the content areas.

I am running into this same issue.  I noticed it when changing a pagetype name as well.

We're having the same problem - the blocks are published. Appeared when we enabled "culturespecific" for contentareas, when changing the name of properties, but also in other cases that we haven't yet identified. This can potentially be a really big problem, so I hope that someone has a fix for this soon.

We found another way to replicate this problem. If you change the sortorder of a property on a pagetype or block manually in the admin mode it removes the block from the page. This is very easily done, since there's no warning before the sortorder changes, which has a large impact on the site. Very large amounts of content can dissapear, causing huge problems for everyone. Is there a hotfix coming out any time soon?

Matt: Which version do you run? The bugfix was made to the first patch of Release 7. If you get the latest patch from nuget, the bug will be fiexed.
