Hi,
Maybe google has a javascript function that checks if the page is located in an iframe. And if it is, the page is reloaded outside the frames.
I guess there's nothing you can do about it, other than not link to pages which checks for frames.
Then there should be some option to cancel loading in edit view since I can't edit the page after publish. Maybe this could be even considered a bug or deficiency in EpiServer.
There is a legacy edit mode that you can access by the address /yourUI/cms/edit/
Hi,
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong (again)? :)
I created a page in edit-mode. I went to Settings-tab and clicked shortcuts -> manage. Then I selected:
Shortcut type: Shortcut to page on another website
Open in: Open the link in a new window
External link: http://google.com
After publish editor got stuck and I can't edit the page anymore. All I can do is delete the page and recreate it.
What happens is when I try to edit the page editor starts to load http://google.com site which redirects to http://www.google.com which redirects to http://www.google.fi (I'm in Finland) and which redirects to https://www.google.fi which gets stuck. Using Chrome developer tools, in Network tab I can see that the call to https-site gets canceled.
Other sites which does not do redirections, like our website http://www.solita.fi, works fine.
Here's couple of images. First one is from Chrome dev tools and second one from the editor.
