Unable to install CMO

Vote:

While trying to install CMO on a local demo site, the installation is stuck immediately in phase "Wizard created, waiting for user input". No wizard is however visible. Anyone else had this problem and maybe found reason/solution?

Hello Janne,

Do you have "Install EPIServer CMO" in the Applicatoins list in the Task manager? What happens if you just press Esc?

Could it be so that wizard window is just out of sight (another monitor or something)?

Hi, long time since poking around this issue. Still got the problem on my laptop. The only thing I see in applications list is EPiServer deployment Center and processes list is "EPiServerInstall.exe". Not effect whatsoever when pressing esc. Annoying.

Appologies for raising an old thread.  I'm hitting this exact issue with a 7.5 CMO install onto an Alloy site. CMS version is 7.5.394.2. I've checked the support issues and can see that this was fixed in December 2013. I've tried running as administrator which still fails at the same point. Is the hot fix still available or is there a fix I can apply on my local machine.
