Extending edit UI

Vote:

Hello,

I'm trying to create a custom tab in edit mode in EPiServer 7.  This was possible in EPiServer 6 using a plugin in the EditPanel area.  I've read various articles about the dojo framework but can't find an example on how to add an addtional plugin in a custom tab.

Is it possible? If not, where can the dojo framework be used to extend the UI? e.g. tools dropdown etc.

Thanks

If you're able to upgrade to 7.5 I think the easiest way to add views that are similar to the EditPanel area would be to use a Custom View.
