We've added Google Analytics to an EPiServer 7.1 site, and in admin mode have set up the Configure Tracking and Configure Analytics Gadget tabs: we have the green ticks for 'Your site has been successfully set up with Google Analytics' and 'Your Google Analytics gadget is successfully set up, giving [Everyone] access to read received data'.

However, when anyone tries to add the gadget to their dashboard, it displays a 'Loading...' message for a few seconds, then shows the message 'The google account is signed out or unauthorized.. Sign in to access data.'

Signing in here doesn't work...

If we try this on a UAT version of the site, it all works as expected.

Does anyone have any ideas why we're not picking up the configuration?

I've raised a ticket with EPiServer on this, but haven't had much joy.
