ARR / Path issue.

Hi,
We're using EPiServer v6 and Composer 4.0, it seems that when we run traffic through our ARR boxes, the preview in editor mode only seems to work when you are 3 levels down in the Tree - this would suggest some sort of path issues, we noticed that paths are referenced using ../ Rather than from the root.
Is this something EPiServer have a patch for or would the best solution be to use re-write rules in IIS (if so could some one point me in the right direction?)
