Hi,

There was a problem deleting an XForm folder from the Object Store. They are moved to the new Dynamic Data Store in CMS 6. Ensure that all your XForm folders are present and correct by going into the XForms editor. If they are then there is nothing more to do.

I have a similar problem. Same stack trace, but the error messages previous is a bit different.

There are three separate error messages (each occurs more than once)

1: Upgrading XForm - 5 of 35 with Id 249615fd-bfdf-4d3d-9197-2270c9555098
An error occurred upgrading an XForm or Folder
Invalid string length for Name of property:really_long_name_here_that_is_longer_than_75_characters. Maximum length for the current operation is 75

2: XForm post cannot be upgraded as its XForm definition failed to upgrade. XForm ID: 249615fd-bfdf-4d3d-9197-2270c9555098

3: XForm has not been deleted from the Object Store as it could not be upgraded. Fix the problem with the XForm and run the program again. XForm ID: 249615fd-bfdf-4d3d-9197-2270c9555098

All in all I have this problem with five xforms (but a lot of form data). Is there a way for me to run the xform migration script again without redoing the whole upgrade process (after manually renaming the badly named xform properties of course)?

Also, even with this error message, has the rest of the upgrade process gone through completely or has it been aborted before some other script has been run (like the Upgrade Site script also in the System Scripts folder).

Hi Mattias.

Sorry for the delay, I have been on vacation. To answer your questions:

Yes, the upgrade process is completed, the main upgrade and XForms Migration run in seperate transactions by design as we knew upgrading XForms may be a little problematic.

Yes, you can run the XForms Migration again and it will only try to migrate the XForms/Folders/Posts that weren't successful last time. To do this open the EPiServer Deployment Center and run the 'Migrate data for site with SQL Server database' task that you will find under the EPiServer CMS -> Version 6.0.530.0 node.
