'Edit' button - strange behaviour?

The pagestartid in episerver.config is "6" which corresponds to the home page id.

Sorry, but I have not seen any of my sites behave like that... Have you tried logging with fiddler to see what happens? That should give you an overview of which calls are being made and what happens to each call.

Hi All,
I have a newly installed site that is doing something strange. I log into the site, right click & select 'Edit' [the small green pencil]. Instead of allowing me to edit the page in-situ I get taken straight to the Search page.
Has anyone seen this before? Can you offer any advice about how I troubleshoot this?
