Currently editing icon never disappears

I have a site where the "Current editing"-icon never disappears on some pages.

The permanent edit isn't set on the page. The scheduled job to clean up Permanent Edits are executed and episerver.config - siteSettings have the permanentEditRetainPeriod="30.0:0:0".
There are no never unpublished versions, and many versions published after the date specified in the tooltip of the icon.

Any ideas?

"30.0:0:0" is 30 days. Have you tried reducing the time?

Yes... But as far as I understand this is only affecting if the user have set the page to: Permanent Edit, and forgot to turn it off (the job resets this). Permanent Edit have not been enabled on the page.
