Creating a New Recipient Source

Vote:

Hi,

Does anyone have any documentation/samples on how to create a new recipient source?

I want to create a new source that ties directly into the EPiServer membership system but I don't know where to start.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

The developers guide is here: http://world.episerver.com/Documentation/Items/Developers-Guide/EPiServer-Mail/Developers-Guide---EPiServer-Mail-50/Developers-Guide_Rev4/

BTW, I think there is some kind of source for CMS/Membership emails included in Mail 5 R2. Not sure, but I thought I saw an assembly with a name indicating that.

Thanks.

There appears to be a custom source code sample along with the Mail download http://world.episerver.com/Download/Categories/Modules/EPiServer-Mail/

I couldn't see any documentation about it being included in R2, would be great if it was! Does anyone know for sure?

I checked the files now. Other than the EPiServer.Mail.Sources.Internal.dll which is included in R1 there are also these files in R2:

EPiServer.Mail.Sources.EPiServer.dll

EPiServer.Mail.Sources.Sample.dll

EPiServer.Mail.Sources.Sample.Web.dll

Hmmm, those assemblies are missing from my installation but I can get them from downloading the sample files that I linked to above. I don't think these tie into the membership system.
