Ah, my title might be a bit misleading.

I'm referencing the "Select Page" box that appears when setting the Shortcut-property for a page, and selecting "Shortcut to page in EPiServer CMS":

... and I have a search box in that dialogue.

Well, that's very strange :-)

In my vanilla Alloy site I get the same dialogue as you, but in my up-to-date production site it's gone.

Edit: My inital screenshot was from http://alloy75.demo.episerver.com/ which I guess is not up to speed with the latest releases.

I'll look into why the search field is not showing in my live site running at the latest version.

Thanks!

Update: This was caused by the /modules/_protected folder containing older CMS.UI packages. This can typically happen if you are upgrading a site that is not stopped, and these files are in-use by the IIS worker process, thus not getting updated.

hi

i still get this issue with version 7.17 upgraded dll.

whats the issue here ?

in my vanilla + 7.17 the search dialog is missing ?

You should have at least two subfolders, CMS and Shell. Both of those folders should have a zip file with the latest (same as the assemblies) version.

In EPiServer >7;
When creating a shortcut for a page, to an external url, you no longer have the search box available to enter the Page ID.
You have to manually click through the page tree to select the page you need.
Any plans to get the search field back?
