Check valid email addresses on saving form

It would be nice if the form editor would check and validate email-addresses upon saving the form. Otherwise this generates error on submitting the form.

Don't you have a "Validate as" dropdown in the properties area of the xform editor when you are editing the form fields? I haven't been around for ages but in the versions of the xform editor I have seen you have had the possibility to validate your form fields.
