Alternatives to Optimizely.Graph.Cms.Query for complex Optimizely Graph queries in C#

For those indexing external content (for example with Optimizely.Graph.Source.Sdk), or who have more complex queries or responses than Optimizely.Graph.Cms.Query (the Graph C# SDK) can handle: what are you using instead in C#?
I'm using Strawberry Shake here and there, but I'm wondering if I've missed some alternative.

I tried Strawberry Shake myself and was able to generate a strongly typed Optimizely Graph client successfully. Optimizely's current walkthrough recommends Strawberry Shake for most production .NET use cases, mainly because of build-time validation and generated models. They also document a lighter manual GraphQL client approach if you want less tooling and more direct control.

I like Strawberry Shake too. I would also like a way of working more with the query as a string. I haven't looked at what to use for that; maybe I need another client library, or maybe I can just use a regular HttpClient.

For cases where the query needs to be dynamic, I think HttpClient could be enough.
